I work as a creative freelance Filmmaker, Photographer & Podcast Producer in Toronto and beyond. Over the past few years, I have specialized editing for YouTube, documentary work, and podcast production. Below are some highlighted pieces with my creative work. Becoming Julianna | The Quest For A World Title

"Becoming Julianna" is an inside look at Julianna Peña's day-to-day life and training in preparation to fight for the title of UFC champion. Follow along as Julianna discusses her journey from throwing her first punch at age nineteen to climbing the ranks as one of the world's best.

Filmed in Chicago, Illinois. In partnership with Designs For Sport, I captured and constructed this film as a one-man team.

"Consistency" is a mini-documentary inside the off-season regimen of NHL Defenceman, Connor Carrick. Follow along as Connor prepares for the season ahead and get a deeper look into his thought process and his intentions behind every aspect of his life, in a quest to be better.

Filmed in Chicago, Illinois. I organized and constructed this film along side with Connor. It was then shared by media outlets, NHL.com and on NHL’s social media.

Vanwives

Jazmyn & Crystal are a Canadian couple who are focused on finding beauty and growth in living alternatively. When they are not making their way around the world in their DIY Sprinter Van, they are building their dream off-grid cabin deep in the woods of rural Nova Scotia.

I oversee the Production, Editing and Distribution of the The Curious Competitor with NHL Defenseman, Connor Carrick. I also co-produce the podcast along side Connor, and work closely on the trajectory and strategy of the podcast’s mission. Additional responsibilities may include: Communicating and booking Guests., Administration, Advert bookings, Creating Marketing Assets for Social Media.

The Podcast is a journey into the pursuit of improvement and well being-physically, mentally, and spiritually. 

Shine The Light On

I work with STLO to help tell stories about mental health. From creating on-going video content, to editing and distributing their podcast. We share engaging content around the stigma. I also with them on photographing product.

Designs For Sport help trainers and athletes achieve their full potential through optimal sport science, industry leading supplements, and top-tier education. I work with Designs For Sport to aid in creative video content for Web and Social Media.

lululemon and the OHL’s Peterborough Pete’s teamed up for a special event all about mindfulness, mental performance and relaxation. It featured several lululemon ambassadors as well as Mental Performance Coach, Brenley Shapiro. They covered breath-work, yoga, recovery and training. All in hopes to bridge the gap of mindfulness in sport.

Last year I directed and filmed Three music videos for Vancouver Hip-hop Artist “Dave Fields”. Both videos have a vintage vibe using prism effects and film grain. Both shot with a skeleton crew, shows you can make unique films with smaller budgets.

More than half of American households are willing to pay up to 25% for food that’s produced closer to home. Fueled by this growing shift in consumer preference, sales of local food are expected to reach $20.2 billion by 2019. Yet despite the demand, small and mid-size producers have struggled to get a foot hold in the wholesale market. FreshSpoke is tackling the wholesale distribution challenges that, until now have kept most farmers and micro-producers out of the wholesale market.
